This apartment has been recently renovated to the highest standards with a modern look and feel, with the added touch of Melbourne Street Art. It has split system heating and refrigerated cooling and as it's on the 4th floor once the windows are closed it is a quiet haven with views of Flinders Street Station, Federation Square and AAMI Park. 

Entertain yourself in the living room with the generously sized couch plus separate armchair with the 55" UHD TV, binge the latest shows and movies on Netflix and enjoy the Free WiFi. The Kitchen will have what you need whether you are staying for a weekend or a longer stay as it is set up with plenty of pots and pans as well as a coffee machine, stove, dishwasher and microwave plus much more. 

There is a unique hidden pull-down comfy queen size bed which vertically folds away to enable a desk and office/study area when not in use. Bi-fold doors convert this to the privacy of a bedroom when required. 

The apartment is metres away from designer shops and the big Melbourne department stores, Myer and David Jones, with the GPO and Emporium shopping sites full of brand and designer stores.  Degraves Street is in easy walking distance to the Art Centre, National Gallery of Victoria, Rod Laver Arena (home to the Australian Open), the Botanical Gardens and walking track, the MCG (home to AFL football and Grand Final, International Test and  Day cricket, Boxing Day cricket, concerts, live theatre and Crown Casino and Southbank which has a number of restaurants on the banks of the Yarra River.

Key Delivery Service 
We employ an external key delivery service to meet you with your keys on your day of arrival. The key handover time is to be booked directly with them at least 48 hours prior to your check-in. This service is included in your booking and covers arrivals between 3:00 pm -6:00 pm. If you are arriving between 6:00pm - 9:00pm, an additional after-hours fee of $40 will apply. Arrivals after 9:00pm will incur an additional $100 after hours fee and subject to confirmation.  Please confirm if you require an after hours check in at the time of booking to confirm if we can organise this for you.

Cleaning Service
Staying 7+ nights? Interim housekeeping services which include a changeover of linen can be arranged on your request. They are available at a rate of $125 AUD per service and depending on what would make your stay more comfortable, they can be arranged weekly or fortnightly.

Security Deposit and Guest Information
Please note we will deduct $500 from your credit card 10 days prior to your arrival. This will then be returned upon inspection of the property after your departure. If we need to make a claim against your security deposit it covers an amount up to $1000, which may include but is not limited to the following: 
Excess cleaning fees, Excess laundering fees (inc. sleeping directly on to doonas, pillows, mattresses), Dirty BBQ, Excess garbage removal, Damage or breakages at the property, Loss of keys or scanners and Late check-out. Our rates are based on twin share. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed in advance. Please include all adults and children in your enquiry. If you have babies please advise their ages also.

Please note guests under the age of 24 must travel with a guest of 24 years of age or older. Guests are required to be at least 24 years of age to stay in our property on their own. Unless prior approval is given, guests not conforming to this policy, will result in Rejuvenate Stays denying access to the property and no refunds will be provided. We are happy to consider making exceptions so please contact us if you don't fall within our age restrictions but would love to stay. 

History of the Building
Melbourne's first department store, the large Mutual Store emporium was located on the corner of Flinders and Degraves streets. The company, established as a profit-sharing co-operative between shareholders and staff, was incorporated in 1872 but suffered a significant setback when fire destroyed the original building in 1891. Architects Reed, Smart & Tappin, who had designed the Melbourne Town Hall and the Royal Exhibition Building, designed a new building in the Mannerist style on the same site.

Despite the interruption, the company thrived and within a year of rebuilding, its range of products filled a catalogue of over 40 pages. After being home for almost 40 years to the Council of Adult Education, the building was converted into apartments. The Mutual Stores Ltd collection is held at the University of Melbourne Archives.

Construction in Melbourne CBD - Metro Tunnel Works
Works are underway to deliver two new underground stations in Melbourne's CBD at each end of Swanston Street. As a part of this project, there are various changes to pedestrian access, roads and existing transport options.

From September 1st 2019, eastbound lanes on Flinders Street are closed between Elizabeth and Swanston streets until 2022 as part of these works.

What a little gem! Couldn't get a better location in Melbourne to explore all the culture and sites. You're literally right on Flinders Lane with all the cool cafes, restaurants etc. The apartment itself is modern and furnished nicely. Modern kitchen and bathroom with everything you'd need for a getaway in Melbourne. You do have to collect the keys from a key locker about 8 minutes walk away but the instructions are very clear and you can quickly do this by walking or jumping out your uber on your way into the city. The host was super helpful and friendly! Would 100% come back to stay in this apartment next time I'm in Melbourne.

Customer service was great! After having our accommodation cancelled last minute by another provider, we were so happy to find some where to stay which was easily accessible and in a great location for a good price!
